Walter B. Rose , Founder and CEO, is responsible strategic growth and business development for Get Ahead Learning. Walt was a founding principal of McBain, Rose Partners and has worked in strategic management roles for McKinsey & Co and Medtronic, Inc. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles and has served as the Vice Chair Trustee at the Berkshire School . Walt received his Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and his Master of Business Administration from Stanford University and the London Business School . 

John Watson, CTO, is an expert in education technology, especially student assessment.  He has led the creation of critically acclaimed artificial intelligence, distance learning, and internet and intranet-based data-driven applications; he holds several patents for technology-related methods; and is a senior member of the I.E.E.E.  Based on his work, John founded EyeCues Education, Inc. and then Get Ahead Learning.  John earned his B.A. and M.A. at UC, San Diego and his Ph.D. in Education Technology at Claremont University .

Chris Mihm , Director of Product Development, directs product development for Get Ahead Learning.  He oversees the No Child Left Behind SES program and supports school-wide implementation and ongoing efficacy studies.  As part of the Teach for America Program in 1991, Chris has served as an elementary and middle school math and science teacher, director of the California Science Project at USC, and Math and Science Resource Teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District . Chris earned a B.A. from Tufts University and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC.

Heather Gomez , Director of Marketing/Sales & Implementation, oversees institutional support programs, staff training, customer satisfaction and support, sales team development and management, and marketing efforts.  Prior to joining Get Ahead Learning, Heather was a Center Director with SCORE! Educational Centers were she managed all center level operations, marketing, sales, customer relations, and quality of instruction.  She also served as a secondary level science instructor and curriculum developer with a federally funded program serving first-generation bound college students.  Heather holds a B.S. from UC Santa Cruz .

Jared Loson , Quality Control and Content Integration, Jared was instrumental in helping to expand Get Ahead Math’s offering by managing the development of nearly four times the number of content questions for Version 3.0. Before joining the Get Ahead Math team, Jared worked with a major supplemental education provider in cooperation with No Child Left Behind. Jared graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A. in 2002.

Raul Gonzalez, School Implementation Associate, Raul helps provide staff and technical support/training to educational institutions using Get Ahead Math. Previously he has tutored at the University of California and taught high school students with the Upward Bound program. Raul earned his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2004.

Nicole Hanson, Graphic Designer, Nicole provides graphic design support at Get Ahead Learning. Her career as a graphic designer began while attending Azusa Pacific University where she obtained a B.A. in 2002.
